Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Emily Gralewski maintained a commendable consistency throughout her 10K race, with steady splits showcasing her endurance and pacing strategy. Beginning with a pace of 13:05 min/mile for the first mile, Emily strategically accelerated to 12:36 min/mile in the second mile, demonstrating an ability to adjust her speed effectively. Although she experienced a slight slowdown in the third mile with a pace of 14:25 min/mile, she quickly recovered in subsequent miles. Notably, Emily managed to improve her position significantly in the final segment. Her overall pace for the race was 13:29 min/mile, with a final achieving strong positions across various splits. Her most notable gain was during the last segment, advancing to an impressive 1004th in her division.
