Steady Improvement Boosts Performance Amanda Miller demonstrated steady improvement throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She completed the 10K with an overall time of 1:48:50 and an average pace of 17:33 min/mile. Notably, her performance improved as the race progressed, finishing with a split pace of 16:48 min/mile over the last mileher fastest split of the race. Amanda managed to move up significantly in the overall and divisional rankings as the race progressed. Starting at an overall place of 1430 and finishing strong by climbing to place 3292 overall, she showed resilience and a great ability to pace herself effectively over the distance. Her most significant improvement was seen in the fourth and fifth mile splits, where she gained more than 900 places overall. This improvement in pace and place can be attributed to her strong strategic pacing, which allowed for a strong finish. Focusing on maintaining a consistent pace from the start could yield even better results in future events.
