Steady Start and Strong Finish in 10K Mandy Magee, representing Girls on the Run Greater Boston, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:21:19. Beginning with a consistent pace, her initial split was at 11:37 minutes per mile, and she managed to maintain a steady effort through the second mile with a minor slowdown to 11:41 minutes per mile. Her first two miles positioned her toward the middle of her division, ending the second mile in the 601st spot for the F40-49 division. Progressing into the latter miles, Mandy's pace decelerated slightly, reaching a more deliberate pace of 14:22 minutes per mile by her final split. Remarkably, her overall position improved significantly toward the end, advancing from 3829th after the third mile to finish 4047th. Finishing strong, she secured the 477th position in her division for the last mile. Focusing on pacing in the latter stages can lead to further improvement. Well done!
