Consistent Early Speed Gains and Strong Finish Megan Alves maintained an impressive effort during the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, completing the race in 54:27 with an average pace of 8:47 min/mile. Her run was characterized by a solid start, hitting a pace of 8:51 min/mile for the first mile. Notably, she gained momentum through the second mile with an improved split pace of 8:46 min/mile. By mile 5, Megan achieved her fastest split at 8:41 min/mile. Throughout the race, Megan showed consistency, reflecting in her improving overall positions. From a start at 780, she improved to 571 by the sixth mile. Her final placing was commendable, reaching 318th in her division.
