Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Sophia Szokolay maintained a remarkable consistency throughout the 10K event, finishing with an impressive elapsed time of 38:17 and an average pace of 6:10 min/mile. Her performance was steady, with splits ranging from 6:06 to 6:19 min/mile. Notably, she showed a strong finish, completing the final mile in 6:10, which helped her improve her standing in the later stages of the race. Sophia's pacing strategy was effective, enabling her to regain positions towards the end. Starting at an overall place of 27, she maintained a competitive pace, momentarily dropping to 33rd before finishing 28th overall. Focusing on maintaining the early pace could further improve future race positions. Nonetheless, completing the race 18th in her division demonstrates her solid performance.
