Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Anne Grossman showcased consistent effort at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting strong, Anne maintained a solid pace in her initial miles, with her fastest split being 10:54 in her second mile, reflecting a 21-second improvement over her first split. Her initial three miles averaged an 11:13 pace, demonstrating a steady start. The latter half of the race saw a gradual slowing; however, Anne still managed to secure excellent placements by advancing from 546th to 427th in her division by the end of mile six. Notably, she improved from 2500th to 2455th in gender ranking during her last split with a total time of 1:15:34. A slightly more aggressive approach in the last 2K could help in future races. Overall, Anne did an excellent job with pacing, especially early in the race.
