However, her pace gradually declined throughout the race, with her slowest split being the fifth mile at a 15:19 min/mile pace. Interestingly, Tameca's overall placement improved from her fourth to sixth mile. She moved up more than a thousand places from the fifth to the sixth mile, which suggests a significant push towards the end.
