Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Katrina displayed a notably consistent pace throughout the 10K race, concluding with an overall time of 48:26 and an elapsed pace of 7:48 min/mile. Her performance remained steady, with each mile hovering close to her average pace, demonstrating solid endurance and pacing strategy. Particularly noteworthy is her improvement from mile two, where she clocked her fastest split at 7:36 min/mile. An interesting aspect of Katrinas results is her strong finish, making significant gains in the last half of the race. From the fourth mile onward, she moved up in placement, showcasing a strategic pacing plan. Although she concluded in the 88th position within her division, her consistent efforts allowed her to improve her placement from 283rd overall at the start to 219th by the end of the race. Potential focus could be placed on maintaining faster paces earlier, as her fastest mile occurred in the second mile.
