Consistent Progression and Pacing Achieved in 10K Gabrielle McLaughlin showed excellent pacing during the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with an opening mile of 9:33, Gabrielle managed to gradually increase her pace mile by mile. Her most impressive split occurred in mile four, clocking in at 8:34, showing a marked improvement from earlier miles. Overall, she completed the 10K with a total time of 55:06 and an average pace of 8:53 per mile. Interestingly, Gabrielle improved her overall placement, moving from 1367th to finish at 902nd. Additionally, Gabrielle's strategy to constantly pick up speed led to her climbing more than 179 places in her division throughout the race. Maintaining a steady progression and concluding with such a consistent pace is commendable. Focusing on sustaining the tempo from the middle miles might help Gabrielle achieve even better results in future races.
