Strong Finish with Mid-Race Surge Abigail demonstrated consistency and determination throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a solid first mile at an even 13:46 min/mile pace, she maintained her endurance across the next few miles. Her second and third miles saw slight decreases in pace to 14:08 and 14:22 min/mile, respectively, placing 1146th in her division during the third mile. Impressively, her performance strengthened significantly from miles three to four with a pace improvement to 14:09 min/mile, moving her up in her division standings to 1108th. Abigail's most significant gains came during the final two splits. She surged forward, gaining over 914 positions overall from mile three to five, finishing with an overall time of 1:28:48 and an average pace of 14:19 min/mile. A more consistent pacing strategy could further enhance her race execution in future events. Great job, Abigail, in gaining momentum as the race progressed!
