Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Cecilia Tai demonstrated commendable consistency in her 10K race with each mile progressively faster than the last. Starting with a 10:57 min/mile pace for the first mile, she managed to improve her pace to 10:08 min/mile by mile six. Her final mile was her fastest, at 9:40 min/mile, indicating a solid effort to finish strong. This pacing strategy allowed her to finish the race in a total time of 1:02:30, averaging a 10:04 min/mile pace overall. Throughout the race, Cecilia's ranking improved considerably, indicating strategic pacing. From an initial overall position of 2819, she climbed to finish the race in 2058th place overall. Her performance in the F30-39 division showed noticeable improvement, advancing from 773 to a final placement of 560. Future efforts could benefit by maintaining the latter half's pacing early on.
