Solid Consistency Across the Course Michele exhibited strong pacing throughout the 10K, finishing with a final time of 1:38:13 and an average pace of 15:50 min/mile. Her first mile set a good tone at 13:56 min/mile, and she managed to maintain a consistent pace across subsequent miles, with slight fluctuations particularly between miles 4 and 5. Despite slower times in the middle sections, she recuperated well in the final miles, ending with a 15:16 min/mile split on mile 5. Focusing on enhancing her speed variation strategies could be beneficial. A noteworthy milestone was achieved in the fifth split with a robust pace improvement. Michele held her ground in the F50-59 division with a placement of 493 out of 5663 total participants. She can consider incorporating speed intervals in her training to sustain or improve her pace in future events. Keep setting those targets and pushing boundaries!
