Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Elizabeth Gower, representing MIT EECS GSA, delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Notably, she maintained a consistent pace, averaging 7:17 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Her splits varied only slightly, with her fastest split at mile 2 clocking in at 7:05 min/mile, and her slowest at mile 6 with 7:27 min/mile. Elizabeth finished with a total time of 45:10. Throughout the race, she improved her overall positioning from 161st place to 123rd by mile 6. Although her pace decelerated slightly in the last half of the course, she improved her standings in both the overall and division rankings. Focusing on maintaining the faster pace she achieved in mile 2 could further enhance her future performances.
