Consistent Start, Tough Finish Katie Swank demonstrated a steady start in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, maintaining a uniform pace of 10:33 minutes per mile for the first two miles. Her consistency during the initial splits placed her well within the top 25% of her division at the outset. As for the overall performance, Katie covered the 10K distance in 1:08:51 with an average pace of 11:06 min/mile. Although the pace slowed down in the latter half, her resilience was evident as she managed to claw back to finish positively in her division, ranking 522 out of 1,258. For future races, aiming to maintain her initial pace throughout could contribute to an even more competitive result. Excellent effort from start to finish!
