Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish Kerry maintained a steady pace throughout the 10K, showing improvement especially in the latter half. Initial splits hovered around 12 minutes per mile, beginning at a 12:09 min/mile pace for the first mile. A slight enhancement is evident, with mile two clocking in at 11:46, marking her quickest improvement in pace to that point. This slight increase in cadence saw her progressively improve her position in the race. Notably, Kerry's performance surged in the final miles. By mile five, her pace impressively picked up to 11:29 min/mile, and she achieved her fastest mile at 10:56 min/mile in mile six. Finishing with an overall time of 1:12:21 and an average pace of 11:40 min/mile, her consistent improvement reflected strong strategy and stamina.
