Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Anna Geisler represented Team Healthworks in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a commendable performance. She finished the race in 53:09, maintaining an average pace of 8:34 min/mile. Notably, her strategy of consistently improving her pace paid off. Starting at a 9:19 min/mile pace during the first mile, she increased her speed through each split, marking her fastest mile at 8:20 between miles 4 and 5. Her progressive improvement in pace is something to highlight and focus on in future trainings. Trading positions impressively through the various stages of the race, Anna began at 1154th overall and climbed to 647th by mile 5. Her standout final placement, coming in 98th within her F40-49 division, was due to her steady pace and strong finish. Continuing to develop on these pacing strategies could further enhance her performance, particularly focusing on gaining speed early on to maximize potential in future races.
