Consistent Improvement Leads to Strong Finish Ashley Harkins showcased a strong performance in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She maintained a consistent improvement through the race, starting with an 8:16 min/mile pace for the first mile and improving to 7:35 min/mile by the sixth mile. Her final overall time was 49:08, with an average pace of 7:55 min/mile. Impressively, Ashley's placement improved with each mile, moving from 475th place overall to 323rd by the end. In her F20-29 age division, she improved from 194th at the first mile to 137th at the finish. Notably, Ashley's fifth and sixth miles were her fastest splits. Continually building speed throughout the race positions her well for future events. Working on maintaining consistency in the middle parts of the race could further enhance her performance.
