Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish May Saito demonstrated solid pacing throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, maintaining a consistent pace nearly the entire race. Starting with an 11:05 min/mile pace, she held steady through the first three miles without much fluctuation. Her slight deceleration briefly increased her pace to 11:17 min/mile during mile 4. However, May quickly rebounded with an impressive finish, achieving her fastest splits in the last two miles clocking in at 10:44 and 10:33 min/mile, respectively. Impressively, May advanced significantly in her overall placement during the later stages of the race, moving from 3017th place at the three-mile mark to 1883rd by the finish. As a member of the Sepsisters, she finished with an elapsed time of 1:07:33 and an average pace of 10:53 min/mile. Continue to focus on the middle miles for even pacing. Overall, a commendable performance with a strong finish to the race!
