Strong Start with Consistent Pace Maintenance Hannah Muse from South Yarmouth, MA completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women in 48:21, maintaining an overall pace of 7:47 min/mile. Her performance showcased a solid start, clocking 7:34 for the first mile which demonstrates strong initial pacing. Between the second and third miles, she experienced a slight increase in her splits, with times of 7:24 and 7:44 respectively, maintaining a steady rhythm within the first half of the race. The latter part of the race saw splits slightly over the 8-minute mark, finishing with 8:13 and 8:11 respectively for the fifth and sixth miles. Notably, Hannah managed to stabilize her overall position towards the end, regaining some places against her peers. Complementing her steady pacing strategy, she secured a finishing position at 214th among her gender peers, demonstrating determination. Analyzing the fatigue management between miles 4 and 5 could help her enhance her endurance further.
