Consistent Performance with Strong Division Finish Jane Chitkara completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women in 48:12, maintaining an average pace of 7:46 min/mile. She had a steady start with a notable speed of 7:31 min/mile during the first mile. Despite a small dip in speed during the third mile, her consistent splits helped her secure an impressive 7th place within her F50-59 division and placing 200th among female participants. To improve performance, there is an opportunity to maintain the strong initial pace in the later miles, particularly the third mile, where the pace dipped slightly to 7:52 min/mile. The ability to start quick and finish strong, as seen in the final mile, helped close the race on a positive note, moving up in the division standing to a very commendable 3rd place. Continue to work on sustaining that early pace throughout the race distance.
