Consistent Improvement with a Strong Finish Jessica Wu showed commendable consistency and gradual improvement throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Her splits indicate a solid start with her first mile at a pace of 9:38 minutes per mile. Impressively, Jessica gradually accelerated, improving to a 9:17 pace by the second mile. This trend continued as she maintained a similar average pace through mile three, completing it in 9:24. While the fourth and fifth miles saw a slight dip in pace, Jessica finished strong with a significant push in the last mile, bringing her overall time to 59:39 and averaging 9:37 minutes per mile. Notably, Jessica improved her overall ranking during the race, moving from 1470th to 1054th and finishing 19th in her division. Working further on endurance for the middle splits could help enhance her performance in future races.
