Steady Performance with Strategic Pacing Kristin Borowski demonstrated a keen strategy in her 10K race, shown by her consistent improvement through each mile. Starting with an initial mile of 8:45, she gradually accelerated, reaching a captivating 8:27 pace in the second mile. Her impressive pacing continued, as she averaged an 8:33 min/mile across the entire race, finishing with a time of 53:01. Her split times indicate strategic control, highlighted by a strong effort between miles 3 and 6, where her positions improved remarkably to finish 93rd in her age division. From 708th place overall at the first mile, she advanced steadily to 459th by the end of the race. Maintaining a steady pace at this level shows her well-paced approach. Kristin represented the Marathon Sports Wellesley Run Club with distinction and should consider maintaining her pacing strategy and focusing on endurance building for future races.
