Gradually, her pace improved significantly in the latter stages, with her final mile reaching the same 16:53 minutes per mile as the first. Panitta completed the race with an overall time of 1:49:32. Notably, her impressive finish saw her climb in placement from overall 4660 at the 3-mile mark to 3297 by the end. This demonstrates her strength in the later stages of the event.
