Starting her first mile at a pace of 12:41 min/mile, Maria improved consistently with every mile split. By the final mile, she impressively clocked in at 10:48 min/mile, showing her ability to maintain and increase her speed as the race progressed. Maria's overall placement improved by a significant margin as the race unfolded. She moved up from 4033rd to 2194th place overall, while also advancing within her gender and division categories.
