Consistent Pace with Steady Improvement Mirna Colocho from Winthrop, MA, delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, running with a consistent pace throughout the race. Her splits show steady improvement, starting with a pace of 11:26 min/mile for the first mile and quickening to 11:10 min/mile by the second mile. The third mile was her fastest at 11:06 min/mile. Although there was a slight slow-down towards the later miles, she maintained an overall pace of 11:15 min/mile, completing the race in a time of 1:09:49. Mirna's division rankings indicate considerable progress throughout the race. Notably, she moved up from 566th to 349th in the F40-49 division during the latter half of the event. This demonstrates her strong mid-race acceleration. To further enhance performance, focusing on maintaining the quick pace of the third mile throughout could provide even better results next time.
