Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Ava Carlson delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, completing the race in 1:20:02 with an average pace of 12:54 min/mile. The most notable improvement was observed between the fourth and fifth miles, where she advanced her overall place significantly from 3735 to 2874. This advancement was also reflected in her divisional placement, improving from 1335 to 1019 in the F20-29 category. Analyzing the splits, Ava began with a pace of 12:08 min/mile and finished with a pace of 13:26 min/mile in the sixth mile. The challenge lies in maintaining consistent pacing or managing any slowdown towards the end; however, her ability to gain positions in the latter stages shows strategic running. The improvement in placement during the last half of the race highlights her ability to finish strong and surpass numerous competitors.
