Consistent Splits Lead to Strong Finish Sadie McGirr completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 44:40. Her overall pace was maintained at an impressive 7:12 min/mile. A notable aspect of her performance was her consistent pace throughout the race, with each mile split ranging from a swift 7:08 to a steady 7:28 min/mile. Her strongest mile was the last, with a pace of 7:08 min/mile, showcasing her ability to finish the race with strength. Sadie showed remarkable improvement in her placement towards the end of the race. Starting in 149th place overall, she moved up to 112th by the finish. In her division, F20-29, she climbed from 66th to 57th across the same stretch. Part of the MIT Slonies team, Sadie can continue to focus on optimizing her performance by analyzing the slight slowdown during the third mile. Consistency and a strong finish were key highlights of her race strategy.
