Consistent Start with Need for Sustained Pace Amanda Almeida began her race with strong performance at the first mile with a pace of 10:16 min/mile, maintaining close to that for the second mile at 10:06 min/mile. Her pace slightly decreased after the second mile, leading to split times over 11 minutes per mile. The quickest pace was in the second mile, showcasing potential for strong middle race performance. During the latter part of the race, Amanda experienced slower splits, especially noticeable from mile 4 to mile 6, with times above 11:30 min/mile. To enhance race experience, focusing on maintaining pace through to the finish could make a difference in overall time.
