Consistent Pacing and Improved Placement Kaleigh Nelson, aged 23 from Franklin, NH, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women in 1:12:56. Her overall place was 3502 out of 5663 participants, with an average pace of 11:45 min/mile throughout the race. Notably, her pacing was consistent, with improvements from 11:42 min/mile to 11:33 min/mile in the first three miles. Her 5th mile saw a slight decrease in pace, clocking in at 12:23 min/mile. Despite the slower splits in the latter part of the race, Kaleigh's overall placement improved significantly, starting from 3487 to finishing at 2338 among overall participants. Her division ranking in F20-29 also improved, ending in 852nd. Although there was an observable deceleration in the final miles, these adjustments contributed to moving up 1149 places overall. Continuously working on maintaining speed in later segments could lead to even more impressive outcomes.
