Pacing Strategy Reflects Positive Finish Jaclyn French from Brighton, MA participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, completing the race with an overall time of 1:12:57 and an average pace of 11:45 min/mile. Over the 6.2-mile course, her consistency was evident in the first two miles with a split pace of 10:48 and 10:55 min/mile, respectively. Notably, her performance improved her placing significantly after the fourth mile, moving from 3049 overall to 2315, demonstrating a strong finish in the latter stages of the race. While her pace slowed between the third and the fourth mile, Jaclyn still managed to regain some momentum and ended strongly in her age division. The shift from mile 4 to mile 5, where her overall placing improved dramatically, is commendable. Continuing to build on that late-race perseverance could aid in maintaining or even enhancing her pace in future races.
