Steady Progress and Finish Alison Smith maintained a consistent pace throughout her 10K race, completing the event in 1:07:47 with an average pace of 10:55 min/mile. She showed great progress, improving her position noticeably in the latter stages of the race, moving up from 2696 overall at the first mile to 1877 by the sixth mile. Her splits indicate an initial pace of 10:48 min/mile, and despite a slight drop in the third mile to 11:05 min/mile, Alison was able to regain a faster pace by the end at 11:01 min/mile. Throughout the race, Alison competed effectively within her division, ultimately placing 127th among participants aged 60-69.
