Starting strong, her initial mile clocked in at 9:17. She maintained a steady pace with minimal variation, closing the first 3 miles with relative consistency. The third split saw a slight dip to 9:27, but she regained focus in mile 5, finishing that split in 10:02. Stefanie's performance shows stability, with her final split time at 9:53 still under 10 minutes. While her overall placement was 1644 out of 5663 participants, it's evident that pacing from mile 3 could be an area to monitor for future races. Considerable improvement in pacing discipline during the middle miles can build endurance and potentially lower overall time.
