Consistent Pace Leads to Strong Finish Cecilia maintained a consistent and improving pace throughout the race, showcasing effective endurance and speed management. Notably, her split times decreased with each mile: from a 10:25 min/mile in the first mile to an impressive 9:49 min/mile by mile six. This progression indicates a positive split strategy, which highlights her ability to conserve energy and pick up speed as the race progressed. Her overall pace for the 10K was 9:58 min/mile, successfully bringing her average under the 10-minute mark. In the final results, Cecilia placed 755th in her division out of a competitive field. Her movement through the ranks was remarkable; she started at position 822 in her division and improved over the course to 501 by the end of the race. Continuing to work on her pace consistency and speed through targeted training sessions could help her shave additional time off future races. Her performance was commendable and a solid representation of her skills.
