Steady Progress with a Strong Finish Joanna maintained a consistent pace during the 10K, starting at 8:37 min/mile for the first mile and concluding with an average pace of 9:18 min/mile over the course of the race. Notably, she achieved her fastest split in the second mile with an 8:33 min/mile pace. One area to focus on is maintaining the pace in the latter half of the race. The third and fourth miles saw a decrease in pace, reaching a split time of 9:53 min/mile at mile four. Despite this, Joanna demonstrated resilience with a strong final split at 9:57 min/mile, finishing with a total time of 57:39. An improvement in overall placement during the final mile shows potential for even better future performances. Keep up the hard work in training to sustain that early pace in the later stages.
