Steady Progression and Strong Finish Gesine Veits showed a commendable performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She maintained consistent improvement throughout the race, demonstrated by her gradual increase in pace. Starting with an 8:42 min/mile for the first mile, she consistently shaved off time. By the 6th mile, her pace improved to 8:05 min/mile. Overall, Gesine finished the 6.2-mile course in 50:57 with an average pace of 8:13 min/mile. Her placement also improved significantly, moving from 675th at the first mile to 346th by the final mile. Impressively, she advanced from 199th to 102nd in her F30-39 division by the end. Representing Autumn Blaze Red Maple, her performance contributed positively to her team. For future races, maintaining such steady improvement will be beneficial, and focusing on the early miles may yield even greater results. Keep up the excellent work!
