Consistent Gains in Speed and Placement Elisa Allen maintained a strong pace throughout her race, demonstrating consistent improvement with each mile. Beginning at a 9:12 min/mile pace for the first mile, she managed to increase her pace to 8:45 min/mile by the sixth mile, achieving a final elapsed pace of 8:52 min/mile overall. Highlighting her progress, Elisa's fastest split was her last full mile, showing great endurance and speed as the race progressed. Her placement dynamics were intriguing as well. Despite being 308th overall after the first mile, Elisa managed to find her rhythm by moving up the ranks, ultimately finishing at 883rd place overall in a large field of 5,663 participants. In the F50-59 division, her placement saw some fluctuations but ended with a solid finish at 52nd place, demonstrating effective pacing and strategy throughout. Focus on maintaining this consistent improvement will be advantageous for her future events.
