Starting strong with an 8:12 pace in the first mile, Jodi did not let significant fluctuations affect her performance throughout the race despite the increasingly crowded field. Her placement improved significantly in the final mile, moving from the 603rd overall position to 487th, showcasing a commendable final push. Jodi ranked 40th in her division (F50-59) out of many participants. Her disciplined pacing strategy is evident from her well-spaced split times, each averaging no more than a 30-second deviation from her overall pace. To further enhance her performance, focusing on slightly tightening her splits around the 3 to 5-mile mark could prevent slight deceleration and bolster an even stronger finish.
