Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Lacey Sasso delivered a balanced performance in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with consistent pacing throughout the race. Her initial mile began with an 11:53 pace, and although there was a slight deceleration by mile four at 12:50, she managed to improve speed in the final two miles. Notably, Lacey completed mile five in an impressive 11:45, showcasing her ability to pick up the pace as the race progressed. Finishing with a total time of 1:14:03 and an overall pace of 11:56 per mile, Lacey's endurance was evident. Her strategic approach allowed her to move up from 3605th to 2421st in the overall rankings by the last mile. Impressively, in her age division F40-49, she improved from 628th to 407th, indicating a strong finishing stage. Focusing on maintaining the increased pace achieved in the latter half of the race could serve her well in future events.
