Consistent Early Splits and Notable Finish Position Abigail Zall completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a final time of 1:25:15, maintaining an average pace of 13:45 min/mile over 6.2 miles. Impressive early consistency was observed with nearly identical splits, kicking off at a 12:57 pace for the first mile. By the fifth mile, Abigail had improved her overall position significantly to 3013 overall. Particularly notable is her progression from the fourth to the sixth mile, where she gained multiple places, moving into the top 3000 overall and advancing in her division to 766th place from the initial 1102. While the pace did drop nearing the end, the ability to gain positions speaks to effective race strategy and strength. Focusing on maintaining the initial pace in later miles could enhance performance further. Overall, a commendable showing with consistent pacing and strategic positioning progress.
