Consistent Pacing Leads to a Strong Finish Alison Kase demonstrated remarkable consistency in her performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She managed an average pace of 7:34 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course, finishing the race with a time of 46:57. Alison began the race at a 7:40 min/mile pace and maintained an impressive level of consistency throughout, achieving her fastest split of 7:31 min/mile during mile five. Her consistency allowed her to improve her placement as the race progressed, particularly in the latter stages. Throughout the race, Alison showed a commendable ability to maintain a similar pace for each mile, which reflects her strong endurance and pacing strategy. Notably, she improved her overall position from 237th to 170th by the final mile. For future races, Alison could explore slight variations in pacing, particularly in the early miles, to preserve energy for an even stronger finish.
