Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Mariana Souza maintained a strong and consistent performance throughout the 10K race, finishing with an overall time of 54:28 at an average pace of 8:47 min/mile. Notably, her consistency across the majority of the race is impressive, as she started with an 8:52 min/mile pace and concluded with a slightly faster pace of 8:42 min/mile at the sixth mile. This shows her ability to sustain energy and speed towards the end of the race in the challenging Boston 10K for Women. In the final segment, Mariana significantly improved her overall position, climbing from 763rd to 577th. Her steady pacing strategy, with most of her splits averaging close to her total pace, was effective in maintaining her position in the top 15% among female participants in her division.
