Consistent Pace with Strong Finishing Skills Isaac Hewa maintained a remarkably consistent pace throughout the 2026 Capital City Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:19:33. His average pace was 7:36 min/mile over the 26.2-mile distance. A standout in his division, Isaac captured first place in the M19-and-under category. His highlights included an impressive split at mile 22, where he achieved a sub-7-minute mile at 6:59 min/mile. Across the marathon, Isaac's splits varied, but he generally managed to hold a pace close to his average. His initial mile was strong at 7:30 min/mile, and he maintained this throughout, occasionally even improving, such as mile 9's 7:10 min/mile pace.
