Consistent Early Performance with a Slight Decrease in Pace Jagger Warren maintained a steady pace for the first half of the race, consistently running between 6:09 to 6:18 minutes per mile for the initial 10 miles. This strategic approach had him well placed around 144 to 175 overall, a promising start in a large field of 5,499 participants. Notably, in this phase, Warren was able to improve his standing, often reclaiming some positions within his gender and division categories.
