Despite starting with a solid 6:40 min/mile in the first mile, Jonathan effectively increased his pace, with a notable split of 6:28 at miles 2 and 14. Averaging a split pace of 6:36 min/mile for most of the race, he strategically managed to maintain this consistency across the course, demonstrating solid pacing skills. Jonathan's performance also highlighted a strong finish. Notably, between miles 19 and 21, his pace picked up with a 6:27 split time at mile 19, which helped propel his position forward.
