Progressive Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Bryan Valle completed the 2026 Eugene Marathon Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:32:00, averaging an 11:36 min/mile pace over the 13.1-mile course. A noteworthy aspect of Bryan's race performance was the consistent pacing in the early miles. Starting with an 11:15 min/mile for the first mile, Bryan showed determination by maintaining a steady pace within the 10:55 to 11:09 min/mile range for the subsequent miles. Around mid-race, between miles 5 and 10, a gradual increase in elapsed paces was observed, peaking at 15:03 min/mile during the 10th mile. However, Bryan demonstrated resilience by surging ahead in the 12th mile with a remarkable 9:12 min/mile pace, his fastest split of the race. Finishing strongly with a 10:07 min/mile pace for the final mile, he ranked 210th in his division, showcasing his capability to rally after earlier challenges.
