A Steady Performance with Consistent Split Pacing Bridget maintained a consistent pace throughout the Eugene Marathon, showing commendable stability across the 26.2 miles. For the first half of the race, her splits hovered close to 6:28 min/mile, highlighted by her fastest split at mile 6 (6:22 min/mile), which helped her improve her placement in the female division to 11th. Her steady early pace places her well within her division, reaching as high as 11th by mile 6 and ultimately finishing 14th. In the latter half, Bridget's pace showed slight deceleration, with splits ranging from 6:34 to 6:59 min/mile. Despite this, she managed a strong finish, moving up to maintain her position in the final mile. Ending with an overall pace of 6:34 min/mile and a total time of 2:52:14, Bridget's performance was solid, especially in maintaining form over the long distance. Working on pacing through the later miles could further optimize future race performance.
