Consistent Pacing with Slight Variations Jeffery Tuman maintained an even pace throughout the 2026 Eugene Marathon Half Marathon. He completed the 13.1-mile course in 1:54:42, averaging an 8:45 min/mile pace. Jeffery started with his fastest mile at 8:33, specifically during mile 6, illustrating his ability to maintain energy and speed. However, slight deceleration was noted in splits 9 and 10, where the pace slowed to 8:55 and 8:54, respectively. Despite this, he managed to correct and finish strong with a final split time of 9:03. Finishing 1217th out of 5458 participants, and 93rd in his division for M40-44, Jeffery should take pride in his efforts. His strategic pacing allowed him a stable progression with just a few deviations. Focusing on maintaining pace towards the latter stages could enhance future performance even further.
