Relay Squad Grinds Out a Full 10-Loop Journey Through Triple-Digit Heat Racing the 100K Relay distance at the 2026 Habanero Hundred, this Houston-based team covered 61.19 miles across ten 10km loops in 17:28:44, an overall pace of 17:08 per mile, finishing 13th of 15 teams and 8th among mixed-gender squads. The result came on a course notorious for deep sand and real-feel temperatures north of 100 degrees, with runners never more than three miles from an aid station a design feature that clearly came into play given the fluctuations in this team's lap times. The splits tell a story of dramatic variance between exchanges.
