Consistent Pacing and Division Win Highlight Performance Alex Fox displayed consistent performance throughout the half marathon, maintaining an impressive average pace of 6:42 min/mile. Notably, virtually all mile splits ranged in the 6:51 min/mile range, with a strong finish of 5:55 min/mile in the final mile, showing finishing kick potential. This performance secured Alex a 4th place finish in the female category and 1st in the F15-19 division, out of 456 participants. Although the pacing slightly varied in the middle of the course, a notable finish was achieved with a total time of 1:27:54. Starting in 33rd overall place, Alex gradually moved up in position, ultimately finishing 16th overall, demonstrating a strategic and strong finish. This level of endurance and sustained pace is commendable. Focusing on maintaining that powerful closing pace could yield even greater performance in future races.
