Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Lead to Top Gender Placement Sophia Bendet demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the 2026 Runtastic HEBER Half Marathon. She maintained a steady pace of 7:01 min/mile for the initial three miles, holding 14th place in gender and 4th in the F15-19 division. Noteworthy improvements were seen after mile 4, where her pace quickened to 6:54 min/mile, steadily climbing in position. Sophia's most impressive performance was in the final stretch. In the concluding mile, she sprinted with a 5:58 min/mile pace, propelling herself to a top 3 finish in her overall gender category. Her final time of 1:28:12 and an average pace of 6:44 min/mile secured her 20th overall and 3rd in the F15-19 division, an impressive feat for the Texas A&M Aggies' representative.
